When is the tour?
The tour is from 1:00 - 5:00 pm on the Saturday and Sunday prior to Memorial Day.
Can children come on the tour?
Children are discouraged from attending the tour. If you do choose to bring your child please be certain that they stay on the designated path and that they do not pick flowers. In addition, please do not bring strollers in to the gardens.
Is the tour handicapped accessible?
While the Garden Tour committee makes every effort to make the tour accessible to all visitors, the fact that private homes are featured on the tour make it difficult to guarantee accessibility. If you are unsure of whether the tour will accommodate you, please contact The Office of Special Events at 301-600-2841 for assistance.
If I don’t finish the tour on Saturday, can I visit the remaining gardens on Sunday?
Yes. Tickets are valid for both days and may be used to finish the tour on Sunday.
Do I meet somewhere specific to begin the tour?
No, the tour is completely self-guided. A map and suggested tour route will be provided with your ticket. You may choose to follow the suggestions, or you may visit the gardens in any order you wish.
How much do tickets cost?
Tickets cost $20.00 per person. There are no discounts for children or seniors, contact 301-600-2841 for information on pricing for groups of 30 or more.
