Compete in the Chili Cook-Off
EVENT INFORMATION
Our annual cook-off takes place in the main area of Baker Park close to the Main Stage of entertainment. The cook-off is open to the public from 1:00 – 4:00 pm for tasting and people’s choice judging.
PRIZES
Every cooker will receive two (2) official Chili Cook-Off Aprons and T-Shirts courtesy of EmbroidMe of Frederick and two (2) passes to the WFRE Country Stage VIP tent! In addition, the following cooker prizes will be awarded:
- First Place Overall - $500 Weis Gift Card
- Second Place Overall - $250 Visa Gift Card courtesy of Buckingham’s Choice
- People’s Choice Winner – 3 Day Stay in Myrtle Beach

EVENT FEES
- Frederick’s 4th Registration Fee - $10 per cooker
- Health Department Temporary Permit Fee - FREE
APPLICATION DEADLINES - CLOSED FOR 2010
All applications must be received by the Office of Special Events no later than 4:00 pm on Friday, June 18, 2010. Your completed application and full payment secure your space in the competition.

All applications submitted will be reviewed and acceptance determined by the Frederick’s 4th Chili Cook-Off Sub-Committee. If approved, you will receive an email or phone confirmation. A formal confirmation package (event map, parking and booth permits) will be mailed to you closer to the event.
