Driving Directions

Parking in the Market Street area will be limited due to event street closures and crowds.

We highly recommend parking in one of the four Downtown Frederick parking decks located within a short walking to the festivities.  You can find more information on the Downtown Frederick parking decks here

Street Closures

If driving directly to Downtown Frederick, please be advised of the following street closures:

1. Market Street between All Saints Street to 7th Street
2. Closures between Maxwell Alley and Market Street
   • E. Church Street
   • E. 2nd Street
   • E. 3rd Street
   • E. 4th Street
   • E. 5th Street
   • E. 6th Street
3. Closures between Market Street and Court Street
   • W. Church Street
   • W. 2nd Street
   • W. 3rd Street
4. Closures between Klineharts Alley and Market Street
   • W. 4th Street
   • W. 5th Street
   • W. 6th Street
   • Lord Nickens Street
5. E. and W. Patrick Street will remain open to traffic all day but will be handled at the intersection with Market Street by police

DRIVING FROM POINTS SOUTH (WASHINGTON, D.C. AREA)

1. From Route 495 (Washington Beltway) take Route 270 North toward Frederick
2. Follow Route 270 to Frederick

DRIVING FROM POINTS EAST (BALTIMORE AREA)

1. Take Route 70 West to Frederick

DRIVING FROM POINTS WEST (HAGERSTOWN AREA)

1. Take Route 70 East to Frederick

DRIVING FROM POINTS NORTH

1. Take Route 15 South to Frederick
