Compete in the Art Competition

As the first event in our series of The Holidays in Historic Frederick, all visual artists are invited to compete for the $1,000 prize for best depicting the theme of “The Holidays in Historic Frederick”.

The focus of this competition is to select one piece of artwork that captures the spirit of Frederick during the holiday season.  The winning piece will also be used for the 2023 Celebrate Frederick  Holidays marketing campaign.

Applications submitted will be reviewed and acceptance determined by Holiday Art Competition Sub-Committee. If approved, you will receive an e-mail or phone confirmation.  A $15 non-refundable entry fee per piece must be submitted for review of your application to move forward.
