WHY IS YOUR TICKET PURCHASE IMPORTANT? Ticket proceeds fund many free public events throughout the year, including the Frederick’s 4th Celebration, the Sunday night Summer Concert Series, the Thursday morning Summerfest Family Theatre, In The Streets, and our many holiday events. In addition to helping fund these events, a portion of the proceeds also benefits beautification and community projects in downtown Frederick. Over the 30 years of this tour, more than $100,000 has been donated to beautify the Frederick community.

Looking for descriptions of the homes?  Visit our Candlelight House Tour Descriptions Page. These descriptions along with a map will also be included in your official House Tour Booklet when you purchase a ticket.

Parking & Directions

Not familiar with Frederick? Take a look at our Candlelight House Tour Google Map to familiarize yourself with the homes on the tour, parking locations, and our hospitality center. This map will be updated daily if any changes or additions are made to the tour.

Parking Questions? Due to the locations of the homes, it may be necessary to park several times along residential streets.  Parking along the route and by each home is limited. The area of W. Second Street by Baker Park includes larger amounts of public parking space.

We do recommend the Church Street (17 E. Church Street) or Court Street (2 S. Court Street) Parking Decks as conveniently located and walk-able parking decks for the tour. Parking decks are FREE all day Saturday and Sunday on the weekend of the tour. For more information on City of Frederick parking options click here.

Hospitality & History

Serving as this year’s complimentary Hospitality Center, Frederick City Hall at 101 N. Court Street holds just as much history as many of the homes on the tour. Warm up with a cup of hot chocolate or grab a light snack courtesy of Roy Rogers.

Special thanks to for providing complimentary cider!

While visiting, don’t forget to stop by our Holiday Shoppe for Holidays Ornaments and Limited Edition Prints. Hours for the center will be 4:00 to 9:00 PM on Saturday and 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Sunday.
